A Creative Drawing Workshop at Big Shop Friday

Bringing in ideas surrounding her practice, painting not who people are but what they are in order to make them relatable, Saint Akua invited participants to join her for an art drawing speed dating experience.

Bringing together people in Milton Keynes following lockdown, these 1-2-1 drawing sessions aimed to restore a sense of belonging to MK and encourage participants to make new connections, using prompted questions to get to know each other, and paint/draw them based not on how they look but, on what they have learned about them.
